The Horseman's Forum will be held at UQ's Gatton campus on Saturday 11th July 2015. Join us for a full day of educational sessions designed to provide practical information for horse owners and equine industry professionals about horse health issues.
Topics to be covered include:
- Cushing's Disease- Diagnosis and new treatments
- Vaccines- how they work
- Lameness
- Parasites and De-Worming
- First Aid and Bandaging Demonstration
- Mixing Game - Knowing what to supplement
- Bute and Flunuxin
- Corneal Ulcers
- A Treadmill Demonstration and Equine Hospital Tour will also be available.
Registration Prices
General registration:
- $75 pp (early bird rate - before 3 July 2015)
- $85 pp (After 3 July)
Staff of industry assoc:
- $50 pp (Horse Rescue Aus, Animal Welfare League, Riding for the DisabledAssoc, RSPCA, Save a Horse Aus, McIntyre Centre)
Uni staff & students (non-UQ):
- $50 pp
