The School of Veterinary Science alumni, Dr Glen Richards and Professor John Pascoe, have both received Vice-Chancellor's Alumni Excellence Awards at this year's UQ Alumni Awards.
Dr Glen Richards (Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) 1988) is a business leader, entrepreneur and veterinarian, who was a resident panellist and investor on Channel 10’s Shark Tank series, identifying and nurturing successful startups and providing mentorship and guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs.
Professor John Pascoe (Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) 1975) is an accomplished veterinary surgeon, leader and mentor and is recognised for developing innovative ways for veterinary students to learn surgical principles.
