Intoxications in Small Animals - A general approach.

This continuing education seminar will focus on the general principles involved in the diagnosis, stabilisation, decontamination and treatment of the intoxicated small animal patient. Some specific toxins will be discussed alongside the emerging therapy with intravenous lipid emulsions (IVLE) and how this may be applied in specific situations.
