Working up and Managing the Respiratory Patient

13 September 2016
6:30pm
UQ Gatton Campus

The presentation will be divided into 2 parts in which we will discuss pulmonary and non-pulmonary diseases causing respiratory signs in companion animal patients. The medical aspects of respiratory cases will be reviewed, including patient presentation, breathing pattern abnormalities to help localise disease, and a review of common respiratory diseases and treatments. Diagnostic imaging plays a key role in the workup of animals with respiratory signs, and complements medical testing. A review of thoracic radiograph interpretation and other useful imaging modalities will be presented.

The presenters for this free seminar will be Dr Alana Rosenblatt, BVSc, MANZCVS, DACVR, Specialist in Veterinary Radiology, and Dr Ann Thompson, BVSc, MSc, BSc, Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine.

A light snack will be provided. The seminar will be held on our Gatton Campus.

This seminar is worth 1.5 CE points
