CPD Seminar: New approach to Small Animal Fracture Repair

23 May 2017
6:30pm to 9:00pm
UQ Gatton Campus

The UQ VETS Small Animal Specialist Hospital invites you to an educational seminar for practising veterinarians, presented by Jayne McGhie.

There has been a distinct shift in how we approach fracture repair in small animals. A better understanding of biological osteosynthesis has seen us shift from a ‘carpenter’ approach to fracture repair to ‘a gardener’ approach. This seminar will look at biological osteosynthesis, the new implants that are available to achieve biological repair and some basic concepts that help maximise successful use of these implants.

Please note: this seminar will be held concurrently with 'Emergency Management of Equine Fractures" seminar on Tuesday 23 May at 6.30pm, Gatton Campus.  Registration here.
