Huey signs off from the CSC to join the Army

18 Jun 2015

Veterinary Medical CentreThe CSC has a new recruit in the Australian Army. Huey (aka Potter) has graduated from his training and is now a fully certified Explosive Detection Dog.

Some of you may have met the mad Potter here in training classes before he decided to join the Army. He was a VERY active dog at the CSC that was also easily trainable which was to his advantage.

From here he will be moving to Townsville to be teamed up with a new handler whose current dog is due for retirement.

Congratulations to the CSC team for identifying his potential to save lives, in an active role.

Should you be looking for a furry friend (dog or cat) to join your family please look at the Pets For Life Facebook page or visit the adopt a pet website.
