Continuing Education seminars commencing for 2017

UQ VETS Equine Hospital

The School of Veterinary Science will be offering two upcoming seminars in the next month.

The first is aimed at Vet Nurses and Technicians and is titled Equine Wound Management, bandage care and cast care.  It will be held on Tuesday 21 March at the UQ Gatton Campus, commencing at 6.30pm.  The cost is $10 per head.    Ben Ahern, BVSc(Hons I) MACVS, Specialist Equine Surgeon, is the Section Head of the UQ Equine Hospital and will present at the seminar. 

On Tuesday 28 March, commencing at 6.30pm, a seminar aimed at practising veterinarians and titled Diagnosing and managing equine metabolic syndrome will be presented by Dr Francois-Rene Bertin.  Dr Bertin will also be introducing a new machine Immulite, recently acquired by the UQ VETS Equine Specialist Hospital.
