The School hosted a large group of students from the Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University in Japan for one day on Monday the 9th of September. The students were here as part of their Australian Animal Studies Tour Program spanning 7th -16th September visiting various locations in Queensland. The School hosted 40 Vet Science students and 35 Vet Tech students.
The students viewed and were impressed with the new library, toured the Small Animal and Equine Hospital, participated in some interactive workshops in The Hub, toured the Dairy operations and watched a demonstration of hoof trimming and explanation of the benefits for doing it.
The students were very happy and impressed with their experience on campus and thanks again to those staff that helped with running the activities and tours on the day.
